A variety of vegetables, including potatoes, peas, carrots, and capsicum, are cooked until they are tender before being mashed and simmered with the masala. It is combined with spicy green chutney and tart tamarind chutney, resulting in a symphony of tastes that are simultaneously sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. When you want a quick snack, bhel puri is ideal because it’s very simple to make and only needs to be boiled. The best thing about making bhel at home is that you can use fresh ingredients for the ideal crunch and modify the chutneys and spices to suit your preferences.

    Last but not least, the South Indian mainstay Masala Dosa, which has gained popularity nationwide, is a thin, crispy crepe filled with a spiced potato combination and prepared from fermented rice and urad dal batter. Fermentation takes place overnight when making dosa batter at home, but the work is worthwhile. You may keep the batter in the refrigerator for days and use it whenever you want to create crispy dosas. The filling consists of boiling potatoes that have been expertly seasoned with curry leaves, mustard seeds, turmeric, and green chilies. For example, you can bake or air fry puris or pakoras in place of deep-frying them. To boost the fiber content, you can use millet flour or whole wheat flour. You can use less salt and sugar when making your own chutneys. Better taste and nutritional value are guaranteed when using fresh ingredients.
